Trichoderma viride 5% (CEPT) is a high-potency biological fungicide registered under CEPT norms and certified by the Central Insecticides Board (CIB). It contains 5% w/w of Trichoderma viride spores as an active ingredient and is formulated to effectively manage various soil-borne plant pathogens such as Fusarium spp., Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotium rolfsii, and Pythium spp.

The formulation colonizes the rhizosphere and suppresses pathogens through mechanisms such as mycoparasitism, competition for nutrients, and production of antifungal metabolites. Additionally, it enhances root development, promotes nutrient uptake, and improves plant resistance to stress.
