Defender

Defender – Pseudomonas fluorescens 1% WP (CEPT) is a CEPT-approved bio-fungicide containing 1% w/w of the beneficial bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens in wettable powder (WP) formulation. It acts as a natural antagonist against a broad spectrum of plant pathogens causing root rot, wilt, damping-off, and leaf spots in a variety of crops.

This bio-control agent colonizes the rhizosphere and produces antibiotics, siderophores, and lytic enzymes that inhibit the growth of harmful fungi and bacteria. In addition to disease control, Defender enhances root development, nutrient uptake, and plant immunity, contributing to improved plant vigor and yield.
