Description
Potassium Chloride
Potassium Chloride (KCl), also known as Muriate of Potash (MOP), is one of the most widely used potassium fertilizers in agriculture. It contains approximately 60-62% Potassium (K₂O), which is crucial for key plant functions such as water regulation, enzyme activation, photosynthesis, and protein synthesis.
This fertilizer promotes strong root development, improves drought tolerance, enhances flowering and fruiting, and boosts overall yield and crop quality. Potassium also helps in improving resistance against pests and diseases.
